| The Kissby Christina vaughn"THE KISS"
Standing on the pier
The harbor lights dance on the water
She feels her anticipation rise to new heights as he approaches.
Her velvet cloak covers her face
Except for her smile and
A hint of green as she peeks through to catch a glimpse of his eyes,
Drawing him nearer to the charms she has kept hidden
Until now
Her passions, now pouring out of her soul,
Like liquid diamonds
Wrapping them selves around the moonlight,
Telling him her secrets
He has sparked her curiosity,
Opened her like a book of poetry
With his name etched on it
Her every desire, belonging now, to him
The scent of sea-salt and roses fills the night air
As he reaches out to touch her rouge tinted lips,
Their innocence now as exposed as her heart,
And brushing back the hood of emerald velvet,
Her red hair blowing across her face
His lips for the first time meet hers
Kissing her softly, gently
Her eyes fall closed,
But she can still see him
So strong â so noble
She has given in â
Pieces of her stream through his soul
She belongs to him,
Now, (forever)
As the wind passes by them in gusts
They become one
For this moment
A song plays where there is no music,
Life is given where there is no birth,
Her heart is quickened where once it lied dormant
And for her this kiss will never end...
